Hi, I'm Ali! I'm a journalist reporting from Charlottesville, Virginia on all things local. I graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in both Media Studies and Government this past December. Now, I'm on the hunt for a full-time reporting position. But until then, you can find my work at Charlottesville Tomorrow, where I'll be interning throughout the spring.

At Charlottesville Tomorrow, I'm reporting on local K-12 education — a new coverage area that I'm already loving — alongside a mix of other local stories. I'm expanding my technical skills into data visualization in D3.js and computer programming through a Forge skills course. I'm also trying my hand at podcasting: I write, produce and narrate radio news clips for WTJU Charlottesville using Adobe Audition.
